ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVTY DISORDER

Do you find yourself struggling to remain organized on tasks? Are you a college student that performed well in high school, but can’t concentrate long enough to complete assignments? Is it challenging for you to pay attention while in conversation? If any of these concerns resonate with you, rest assured that these scenarios are not uncommon for people experiencing symptoms of ADHD. Whether or not you have been formally diagnosed with ADHD, the symptoms associated with it can be difficult to manage. ADHD can be a life-long disorder. While some symptoms are less severe as an individual ages, others may remain and can wreak havoc on one’s life.

Additionally, a number of stressors develop as a result of ADHD, including, but not limited to, interpersonal concerns, school/work related concerns, mood-related concerns, etc. In therapy we will dedicate time to exploring your unique areas of difficulty and develop strategies aimed at reducing the intensity of your symptoms and the stress they cause.
