DEPRESSION & ANXIETY

Depression and anxiety plague numerous people. However, how you experience them may be considerably different from someone else. If you’re struggling with depression, you may notice increased irritability, withdrawal from people and places of support, and decreased appetite. Someone else may notice low mood and energy that adversely impact their motivation. Similarly, symptoms of anxiety may appear in diverse ways, impacting you negatively. You may also struggle with these symptoms in isolation, out of concern for how others will perceive and/or respond to you. This is why a space like therapy can be beneficial.

During therapy we identify, explore and create strategies to help you manage your challenges, by using components of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that focus on the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. With these insights, we can work to minimize the effect depression and anxiety may have on your life.
